Our golden era of streaming television has brought with it ever-shifting viewing habits and a seemingly unending supply of great new (and new-to-you) shows. As a result, we take it upon ourselves to make sure our friends and families don’t miss out on the shows we personally value. This spot plays on the audience’s tendencies to recommend shows and assigns names to our relatable – but previously unarticulated – habits.
To make this punchy, comedic video as sharable as possible, I brought in a great comedy director and cast an ensemble of up-and-coming talent (who have all gone on to be recognizable faces).

The resulting video encourages our audience to feel empowered when navigating the wealth of great content for themselves, with their voice being the decisive one as they choose what to watch. And, of course, the brand is front and center as we begin and end with someone settling on the couch in their living room and asking the FireTV Remote to find a great new show they’ll love.
